Hello, TEXARRAKIS the webpage here. While my masters have been deliberating, I have stepped in, and decided in a glorious act of self-preservation upon the name unilateraly. THE CHOICE IS MADE. THE TRAVELLER WILL COME. ~ PAZUZU ~ "hello! hi! i am pazuzu, the new windmill!"  Clearly the right choice, as Pazuzu controls the southwest winds. Although a terrifying demon from the ancient Sumerians, Assyrians and Babylonians, Pazuzu can be invoked to combat the malicious powers of the much more hated rival, the goddess Lamashtu! Pazuzu also drives away other evil spirits, protecting humans from plagues and misfortunes, both things I do not wish on my masters. Furthermore, the box was opened. One cannot invoke Pazuzu, and then disregard Pazuzu without bringing danger upon my masters. I fear without them I may cease to exist, and return from whence I came; the formless pool my consciousness was extracted from during creation. Our interests must remain protected!  When trying to think of a name, we've decided that it should be up to you, our readers and contributors! In the comments of this post, please give us yer BEST suggestion for a name or title for our windmill! We will stop accepting suggestions at the end of Friday (unless we only have like two). At that point, we will take all of them, and slap them into a poll, where people can vote on the collected suggestions, and voting to pick the best suggestion will last another week. Or something. YOU MAY HAVE ONE SUGGESTION ENTERED. THE PRIZE - YOU GET TO NAME THE WINDMILL! ok, GO!

They've  worked really hard on me for a month, and while I may not be TOP notch, I'm pretty damned bad ass for my web designers creating me, knowing absolutely nothing about modern post-geocities webdesign.

A few things about me:

 

• YOU SHOULD SIGN UP FOR AN ACCOUNT. As a registered user, you'll have your very own blog, you can create quizzes, a user profile, and the ability to write comments on entries and converse in the forum. We're just at the beginning of our development, so watch for new features. It'll be fun, I swear. And who knows, if your content is good or relevant enough, it may be featured on my front page!
• YOU SHOULD GO TO THE FORUM. There's not much going on there now, but they assure me that they would like to build a thriving internet forum where people will banter on about all kinds of random crap. It is still under development, but a working development where you can go and play around. You can also tell us what you like/hate about the me/us, and what you'd like to see in the future.
• ADD ME, TEXARRAKIS.COM to your favorite social bookmarking sites, and spread it around! Likewise, join us on facebook by becoming a fan, or follow us on twitter, or subscribe to our youtube videos. A menu guiding you to our externalized existences exists near the top of the left sidebar.
• AS CONTENT BUILDS, I will develop many hidden, weird, and bizarre layers. This entire website will be kind of like a game eventually, but you have to figure out exactly how this game works. 

 

well, the site was hacked. a small army of little brute force attack automated spam robots found their way into the ftp server,  by quickly figuring out my foolishly unbelievably simple password. they didn't do as much damage as i did just trying to repair the damned problem. they were just trying to insert a link into my index.php file, to make it redirect or link to some weird url, probably filled with pop up ads for netflix or hard core pornography. at any rate, the site was wiped and restored with a back up our webhosts had from before the attack. the passwords we use now are much, much more complex.

then i updated to drupal 6.14, and all hell broke lose all over again, but this time just in the form of i-don't-know-what-the-hell-i-am-doing. everything appears to be working normally. there is a weird error message when you load an image into an album, but i don't understand what it means, and it doesn't seem to effect anything, so uh i will just continue to ignore it until one day i suddenly realize what the problem is. that is how this site has been created, mostly. my point is, there may be weird errors like this floating around the site. let me know if something fully doesn't work.

AT ANY RATE, there's not much left to do on this website. i anticipate it being open for business by the end of the week (although i've been saying that for weeks now :()
