RAINBOW FAMILY PICNIC

Last night at around 11, me, and my friends brett and zach left to go to what was a rrumoured rainbow picnic taking palce on the 4th in grannville, vermont. we got to the welcome home area at around 3:30 am, and no one was there, at all. so we got out of my van, and walked up to nerf and to the main circle area (this must all be confusing, go here: www.welcomehome.org), and no one was anywhere. everything was so much more pitch dark and empty than from outr last visit during the regional gathering. we sat around the fire pit, and just kind of quietly observed everything. then we heard some coyotes howling, and we got scared and tried to start a fire, but everything was all wet so we only got some smoke going.

then the sky started to blueishly light up some more, so brett and zach went exploring seperately, and i stayed and just enjoyed the surroundings. eventually they came back, and we decided to go down to the bus village and set up welcome home. we cleared out the area where it last was, and set up a fire pit and some logs to circle it, and then i decided i needed to get some sleep because later on that night i'd have to drive more. so i went to sleep.

later on i woke up to brett hugging a woman . . . someone else showed up! we got out and talked to her, and slowly, as the day went on, about 20 more people trickled in. there was morethen enough food brought for everyone, and we had a great day. a brother named jeff showed up, and strenghtened the hell out of my bus idea. when i graduate from school next year, i am buying a full sized school bus, and converting it into a house, travelling across the country in it and then living in it for a while instead of an apartment.
