Joe the Sheriff; not your average Joe the Plumber

First of all, I would like to wish all of you readers out there a pleasant FYF! To those of you on the east coast, have fun with Earl!

Recently I've been watching a certain Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona pop up on the news, and even moreso in the last day or so. Who the hell is Sheriff Joe Arpaio? Why is the US Department of Justice suing him? This is clearly what I get for not watching television or listening to the radio.

Who knows, but after researching it, I can't help but be reminded of Joe the Plumber. News articles and blog posts seem to be making him out to be your average Joe the Plumber type, except in this incarnation he is a sheriff. But he's not. Joe the Sheriff is being sued, because of an investigation into racial discrimination on his and his department's part. The USDOJ wants his documents, that they think will prove that he used racial profiling in what are believed to be in descriptions of some sort of illegal immigrant sweep through his corner of Arizona.

Well, so I looked around the internet a bit, I wanted to find out something about him that comes from BEFORE all this recent stuff about him. Basically, I suspected him of being some sort of nazi fascist.

Yup, he's a nazi fascist. What I found out was extraordinarily easy to find and well known to seasoned Joe the Sheriff haters. And also completely missing from any news story I read on this matter. QUITE SIMPLY, here is some evidence submitted to you that Joe the Sheriff is, in fact, a Nazi.

In a protest against his extreme anti-immigration policies, he shows up to support the counter protestors, who know him. They are all neo-nazis. Skip to 4:48:

And of course, the counter protest was about supporting Arpaio, versus the huge numbers of people denouncing him for his heavy handed, racist tactics.

Other accomplishments (besides being a neo-nazi apologist) of Joe the Sheriff are:

A post apocalyptic "tent city" jail, with hispanic inmates in a segregated tent city behind an electric fence.
Being given the title of America's Toughest Sheriff. Actually, he made that title up for himself.
Sheriff Joe has some sort of weird "Pink Underwear" fetish where everyone he is control over has to wear pink underwear.

Yeah, alright. This doesn't include all of the improper spending, and what a terrible job he is doing as sheriff, even from a fascist perspective.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's office webpage is a Joe the Sheriff narcissism trip. But it's worth taking a look at, it's pretty amusing/horrifying. Make absolutely sure to check out the 8 Signs of Terrorism section. It's a winner in weird post 9/11 governmental dystopia.
